Self-checkout that clears the queue.
Let shoppers walk up to a kiosk, browse your full catalogue, scan, and pay by UPI or card, with no staff needed. It works offline and connects to your Commmerce POS, so the kiosk and your counter share the same stock and orders.
Schedule a DemoWhen footfall grows, checkout becomes the bottleneck.
Without self-checkout, every transaction needs a store associate. At peak hours customers queue, staff get pulled from restocking and service, and smaller stores cannot always afford another billing counter. A self-checkout kiosk offloads the queue so your team serves customers instead of only ringing them up.
From walk-up to receipt, without staff
A guided flow takes the shopper from the welcome screen to a printed receipt, and the order lands straight in your Commmerce POS.
Start and choose
The shopper taps Start on a configurable welcome screen, then picks Pickup or Delivery (skipped if only one is enabled) and a branch for multi-store setups.
Browse and scan
They browse the full catalogue by category or search, or scan a barcode with a USB scanner, view variants and images, and add items to the cart.
Checkout
They enter name and phone, apply a coupon or loyalty points, and add a delivery address if needed.
Pay and print
They pay by UPI QR, a Razorpay link, or a Pine Labs card terminal. The order is submitted to Commmerce POS and a receipt prints on the connected thermal printer.
Built for a real store floor
Works offline
The full catalogue browses from a local database. Orders queue and sync to your POS when the connection returns.
Barcode scanning
USB and HID keyboard-wedge hardware scanners are supported for fast, accurate item entry.
UPI and card payments
UPI QR via Razorpay, Razorpay payment links, and Pine Labs card terminals over USB or cloud push.
Kiosk lockdown
Android screen pinning or full Device Owner lockdown keeps the tablet fixed to the self-checkout app.
Pickup and delivery
Let shoppers collect in-store or ship to an address, configurable per store.
Multi-language
A language selector supports Indian regional languages, so shoppers checkout in the language they read.
Thermal receipts
ESC/POS receipt printing over USB or Bluetooth at the kiosk.
Multi-branch
A branch selector handles stores with multiple locations from the same app.
Connected to POS
Catalogue, orders, and payments sync with the Commmerce POS backend in real time.
Made for how Indian shoppers actually pay and read
UPI-first payments
UPI QR generation and confirmation through Razorpay is the primary payment path, the way most Indian retail customers prefer to pay.
Pine Labs terminals
Integrated with Pine Labs, one of India's largest card terminal networks, for card and contactless payments.
Regional languages
Shoppers pick their language on the way in, so the whole checkout runs in a language they are comfortable reading.
Offline resilient
Built for the unreliable connectivity common in Indian retail: the catalogue works offline and orders never get lost.
Frequently asked questions
Does the self-checkout kiosk work without internet?
Yes. The full product catalogue is browsable offline from a local database, so shoppers can keep scanning and ordering during an outage. Orders queue and sync to your Commmerce POS automatically when the connection returns.
Does it support UPI payments?
Yes. Customers can pay by UPI QR code generated through Razorpay, by a Razorpay payment link, or by card on a Pine Labs terminal. UPI QR is the primary method for Indian shoppers.
Can I use my existing Pine Labs card terminal?
Yes. The kiosk integrates with Pine Labs terminals over USB or cloud push, so customers can pay by card or contactless alongside UPI.
How do I lock the tablet so customers cannot exit the app?
The app supports Android kiosk mode using screen pinning, or full Device Owner lockdown provisioned over ADB, so the tablet stays locked to the self-checkout experience.
Does it need Commmerce POS to run?
Yes. Self Checkout connects to the Commmerce POS backend for catalogue sync, order submission, and payment reconciliation, so the kiosk and your billing counter share the same products and orders.
Will customers actually use self-checkout?
It works best for repeat and tech-comfortable shoppers, and a guided welcome screen and simple flow reduce friction. It offloads the queue at peak hours so staff can focus on service rather than only billing.
